Today is the filing deadline, and I'm excited to announce that I'm officially on the ballot for the August 2nd primary! With only 106 days to go and the weather finally warming up (despite this week's snow), now is the time for us to ramp up our efforts to contact voters. I invite you to help us kick off canvassing season on Saturday, April 30. We have three 2-hour shifts available, and you may volunteer for more than one shift. I started canvassing in March to spare volunteers from the very coldest days, but I did take a special tiny volunteer with me last weekend - my 5-year-old daughter, Autumn. She loved ringing doorbells and petting dogs, while I loved hearing what's top of mind for voters in this midterm cycle.
